Flexo printing

Like offset printing, flexo printing uses a printing plate for each colour to be printed, but made of flexible rubber. The image is embossed on the rubber blanket. The image is therefore raised on the rubber blanket, making the print less sharp than offset printing. Flexo printing is therefore cheaper than offset printing. Again, you need a separate printing plate for each transparent colour (black, yellow, blue, red).
