Screen printing is a technique used for many purposes. It is a method in which the ink is pressed through a screen. This technique is often used on materials that are difficult to print on, such as textiles and plastics. Artists also use screen printing to reproduce a painting in limited editions. At The DM Bureau, we mainly use this method for applying a scratch-off layer over a unique win code on a promotional Direct Mail. By masking the win code with a scratch-off layer, it is given a more unique and personal touch. This contributes to a higher response rate and conversion of the Direct Mail campaign.
